What an experience! We just got back yesterday from a 5 day getaway and we would highly recommend booking a getaway with H2Ogetaways.ca Not being experienced boat people, we asked if we could have the boat parked for the duration of our stay.

Not only did John & Jen provide us a rundown of what each lock offered, they gave the perfect description of Lock 10 (Hague’s Reach). This lock is ideal for kicking back and relaxing or taking the kayak or paddle boards for a spin – which is exactly what we were looking for.

Miss. Percy provides the right amount of room for a family of 3 or more without feeling cramped. This trip was so inspiring, we now want to get our boaters license and to book Mr. Healey or Mr. Falls next summer to explore other locks along the Trent-Severn Waterway! Amazing family memories!

Just got back from a terrific week on the Mr. Healy houseboat. We traveled from lock 1 to lock 18. The owners, Jenn and John, couldn’t have been more helpful, enthusiastic, great to work with.

The boat has been beautifully refurbished with a modern bathroom and kitchen, new flooring, lovely seating areas both inside and on the upper deck, charging ports and, my favourite, side thrusters that made negotiating the locks so much simpler.

Would highly recommend this company if you are looking for an upscale house boating vacation.

My family had such a good time on our 4 day excursion with Mr. Healey – there may have been a little rain but fun was still had by all!

Jen and John have put a lot of effort into this company and it shows, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and everything was clean and in great working order. As somewhat inexperienced boaters we had no difficulty navigating the scenic waters from lock 1 to lock 8, even in the rain.

The kids (ages 4 and 7) are already asking when we’re going again 🙂

“Our four day trip was an amazing time. We were a bit hesitant as we have booked houseboat trip six years ago that was not the best experience. Jen and John have outfitted the boats with everything you could need/want on a houseboat trip. The boats are very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable.
