Mr. Falls was such a beautiful boat...easy to navigate through the waterway, comfortable and very clean and organized. We were 3 adults and we didn't feel at all crowded!

What an incredible few days! Sept 13 - 16, 2022. Four gal pals aka 'the usual suspects', my golden retriever Sammy and a 'bucket list' item! H20 Getaways did not disappoint & 5 Star all the way. I, being a very 'rusty' novice boater from years ago & the limited knowledge of the semi-retired all gal Crew, John was great throughout the boat orientation & covered everything from the operation, basic boating navigation in the waterways, and Lift-lock review. His response was immediate when I texted him for another 'how to' on the 'cold start' the next morning. Jenn was equally wonderful with her walk through on the interior functions of the houseboat. The H2O Houseboats are lovely - well equipped and beautiful decor. Thanks Again Jenn & John for a fantastic experience! See you in 2023!

“Our four day trip was an amazing time. We were a bit hesitant as we have booked houseboat trip six years ago that was not the best experience. Jen and John have outfitted the boats with everything you could need/want on a houseboat trip. The boats are very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Jen and John are super friendly and accommodating and go out of their way to make your vacation spectacular! We will be booking another vacation with them next year for certain and recommended their boats to everyone in the 10 locks we went through. Don’t hesitate to book this very unique vacation!”

Pssst …. Don’t tell anyone, but houseboating on the Trent-Severn Waterway is a hidden gem of a vacation experience! If you enjoy the great outdoors and all nature has to offer, but appreciate the creature comforts of home, then H2O Getaways is the ticket! H2O houseboats are literally a home away from home. Jen and John have created curated spaces that go beyond the necessities of everyday living, with thoughtful and functional touches to the décor that really take it to the next level. The boats are user friendly, so whether you travel the waterway to experience the locks, or choose to park it at one of the scenic spots and use it as a floating cottage, I promise it won’t disappoint. The upper deck lounge, with sectional couches and Adirondack chairs, is the perfect nesting spot for lazy days sipping cocktails, reading, listening to music, or just taking in the inspiring scenery. I took advantage of the space for sunset yoga, while my husband enjoyed many evenings fishing off the back deck. The kitchenette had everything we could possibly need, including full fridge/freezer and cooktop, with a BBQ on the back, and the beds had high end mattresses and bedding for really comfy sleeping. We really can’t say enough about the incredible “un-plugged” week we enjoyed in June. Kudos to Jen and John who have truly nailed what it means to create a boutique vacation experience from start to finish. Their level of commitment and genuine interest in providing a one-of-a-kind vacation is evident in everything they do. We’ve already booked our week next year in 2023!

My family had such a good time on our 4 day excursion with Mr. Healey – there may have been a little rain but fun was still had by all!

Jen and John have put a lot of effort into this company and it shows, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and everything was clean and in great working order. As somewhat inexperienced boaters we had no difficulty navigating the scenic waters from lock 1 to lock 8, even in the rain.

The kids (ages 4 and 7) are already asking when we’re going again 🙂

I recently escaped to the Miss Percy for a few quiet days away on the water. The boat was perfect – clean, spacious, and had everything I needed (and then some).

Jen and John took care of everything, including choosing the perfect spot for my solo getaway. Can’t wait to come back next summer!

Thank you Jen and John for a fantastic week on Mr Falls. Lovely houseboat with all the amenities needed. Bright and spacious living space, very comfortable bed and beautiful scenery made for a perfect holiday. We travelled from lock 5 to lock 18 and our favourite places to moor for the night are bottom of lock 18, Old Mill Park as well as top and bottom of lock 10. When we needed technical support, Jen and John were extremely helpful. We strongly recommend H2o houseboats. You are the best !

We had the most unique and enjoyable seven days aboard the Mr Falls, from June 24 to July 1, 2022. Going through the locks is a challenge and the masters of the locks are very friendly! Together with our pet, we were more comfortable on the boat fully equipped and spotless. The owners, Jen & John, were very welcoming, accommodating and very nice people! An A+ for this experience, for a relaxing stay with a bit of challenge! We definitely recommend it! Thank you and all the best!

I can't say enough good things about our trip Jen and John Went above and beyond the boat was amazing I have never driven a house boat before but the bow and stern thrusters are a game changer. We honestly had no idea what to expect was kind of a last minute thing for us and the only reason we went with h2o is they had one available and I am so happy we did after coming back and looking at other boat retails they don't even come close to what H2O offers on their boats and the service Jen and John offer is unheard of anywhere, needless to say we have booked for next year this time three family's and three boats and we cant wait. I never knew this was in our own back yard and it has to be seen to really appreciate it. Its a trip we will never forget and we are still telling stories and laughing and that part is all thanks to Jen and John it would have not been as fun with out your guys help and attention to detail. Thank you so much and see you next year!

Just got back from a terrific week on the Mr. Healy houseboat. We traveled from lock 1 to lock 18. The owners, Jenn and John, couldn’t have been more helpful, enthusiastic, great to work with.

The boat has been beautifully refurbished with a modern bathroom and kitchen, new flooring, lovely seating areas both inside and on the upper deck, charging ports and, my favourite, side thrusters that made negotiating the locks so much simpler.

Would highly recommend this company if you are looking for an upscale house boating vacation.

What an experience! We just got back yesterday from a 5 day getaway and we would highly recommend booking a getaway with H2Ogetaways.ca Not being experienced boat people, we asked if we could have the boat parked for the duration of our stay.

Not only did John & Jen provide us a rundown of what each lock offered, they gave the perfect description of Lock 10 (Hague’s Reach). This lock is ideal for kicking back and relaxing or taking the kayak or paddle boards for a spin – which is exactly what we were looking for.

Miss. Percy provides the right amount of room for a family of 3 or more without feeling cramped. This trip was so inspiring, we now want to get our boaters license and to book Mr. Healey or Mr. Falls next summer to explore other locks along the Trent-Severn Waterway! Amazing family memories!

A totally unique experience! This summer we rented Mr. Healey and Mr. Falls and travelled in tandem with family for 4 days from lock 2 to lock 11/12. It was a perfect getaway for quality family time for 3 generations! Jen & John are the most incredible hosts – the boats are very wellappointed with supplies and decor that they have clearly put a lot of care into selecting.

The layout is comfortable and spacious, and creatively decorated. It all truly added to our wonderful experience! Jen & John were so friendly and helpful right from the moment I found their company through to the very end of our trip.

We had one minor mechanical snag and John met up with us at our next lock, fixed us up and had us on our way within 15 minutes – we were so impressed! I 100% recommend booking an H2O Getaways getaway!

I wanted to take a moment to say how wonderful our stay was last week. Jen did an incredible job decorating and every little detail did not go unnoticed. The kitchen had everything you'd have at home. From quality knives and cutlery, to a sturdy cutting board and coffee press. There wasn't a moment where I felt like something was missing. Even the window coverings were thick and easy to use and I loved that they were labeled. The little picnic basket to store the window coverings was super cute and helped keep the space well organized. The bedding and blankets were perfect for those cool nights and I felt so warm and cozy. I also appreciated so much that we were given two options for pillows; a flatter pillow and a thicker one. These little touches meant so much to us because different people have different needs and you guys definitely thought of everything! The use of space for storage, the shelves, the hooks on the walls, everything was perfection. I can tell a lot of thought and effort went into making this house boat a home away from home. You both were fantastic and attentive and easy to get a hold of in case we needed anything. Such a lovely couple. 5 stars from us hands down.
